Marko Biography
Marko is the musical project of Fabio Arangio, a musician by nature and a freelance graphic designer by profession, who blends his passion for music and writing, often intertwined.
Since the age of 12, when he received his first classical guitar, Fabio has nurtured a passion for musical composition and narrative writing. Starting with classic Rock’n’Roll, he has evolved towards 1990s pop rock with a fondness for Finnish rock.
Marko debuted with the album “Back To Where We Started,” composing his own lyrics and crafting arrangements with the assistance of AI, exploring themes of returning to roots and personal growth through a unique fusion of engaging melodies and reflective lyrics.

Following the albums “Back to Where We Started” and “Out of Sight”, it introduces some experimental sounds and explores deeper lyrical themes.
A rockabilly track, “It’s Just One Day“, kicks off the album, followed by intense ballads like “Clouds“, which immerse deeper into the music and emotions, leading up to the title track “Who’s Gonna Save Me From Myself” – the most intimate and personal song the artist has ever written.
The songs on “Who’s Gonna Save Me From Myself” take listeners on a journey through feelings, memories, and unresolved moments of the artist’s life. Starting from a personal perspective, the music gradually becomes more abstract, elevating the sound to a higher place—a pure space of the heart and mind.
The album features a carefree homage to the Generation X with the eponymous track, the last song written.

If the album “Back to Where We Started“, was mostly about the melodies, “Out of Sight” is intoduces some experimental tunes and explore deeper themes with its lyrics.
From dance and rock tracks like “Not A Tear“, “Watching Over“, “Out of Sight“, “Vanilla Kiss“, “Numbers“, “Let There Be Light” and “Qu’est-ce qui se passe“, to deep piano mood with “Always Forever“, “Where Have You Been All This Time“, “In The Warmth Of The Dark” and “Untold“. “Sixteen” looks at the younger generation, while “Yesterday” – the closing track – offers a retro-touch.

The addition of Sun’s female vocals brings a dimension that Fabio felt was missing when singing from his own perspective, inspiring the artistic project under his pseudonym, Marko.
